Website Redesign and Rebuild

✓ Simple & minimal design
✓ Concise & informative content
✓ Mobile friendly
Project Purpose:
Update Website
Dr. Kaitlyn Furman had a website made prior to 2014. At the time she was a new graduate and looking to start her own practice. This website used to have mobile functionality, however since has been blocked on mobile (malware). As well, certain browsers on desktop also block the website, again for malware.
Dr. Furman needed the new website to:
-
Reflect her current position at Fusion Chiropractic
-
Present her as a family-focused chiropractor, noting she shifted her focus from sports-related injuries/conditions
-
Always be accessible on mobile and desktop i.e. no issues with malware or security breaches preventing the website from loading
Project Accomplishments:
A simple yet informative website
-
Designed and shipped a minimalistic website for mobile, tablet, and desktop
-
By simplifying her previous 25-page website into a single-page design, enhanced the digestibility of content
-
Completely redesigned the information architecture i.e. navigation and layout
-
Edited, reorganized, and rewrote content sourced from her original site
-
Used colour and motion for engagement
-
Provided counsel on design decisions
-
Designed within constraints, including client preferences, colour accessibility guidelines, and WIX limitations

Desktop/tablet, single-page design, 6 sections

For comparison, the old 25-page website
Dr. Kaitlyn Furman's old website had been blocked on all mobile devices (malware). Additionally, in some cases also on desktop (again malware). Her old site has been taken down.
Key areas for improvement:
-
Website security breaches (i.e. need for a functioning mobile site)
-
Content is hard to scan and digest
-
Design aesthetic is dated
-
Unmaintained website (e.g. no blog, irrelevant contact info)
