App idea for elevating the secondhand shopping and selling experience
(from research to prototype)

Apparel Project is a peer-to-peer online marketplace for the buying and selling of women's pre-owned clothing. The purpose of the platform is threefold - help women declutter their closets, make clothing more economically accessible, and lessen fashion’s environmental footprint. As discovered in user research, sellers (buyers) of resale clothing are most motivated by earning (saving) money - rather than environmental considerations - and are most frustrated with the time it takes. Apparel Project makes it easier and more enjoyable for buyers (sellers) to save (earn) money when shopping (selling) resale clothing.
